The Pakmen 14U Boys travelled to St. Jean De Brebeuf High School in Vaughan on Saturday March 27th, 2010. The boys proved that they are the team to beat, capturing yet another tournament victory defeating their toughest opponent yet, the Niagara Rapids in the gold medal match: two sets to none with the scores of 25-19 and -25-21.The 14U Boys glided with ease through the other two play-off games. In the quarterfinals, Pakmen faced off against Markham 14U defeating them 25-10 and 25-15. In the semi-finals Pakmen played Toronto West defeating them two sets to none with the scores of 25-5 and 25-8. This tournament victory was crucial for the boys because if they won, it would guarantee them the number one seed in the Ontario Provincial Championships quickly approaching. Head coach Phillip Rodrigues had this to say after the win, “ The boys couldn’t of played a better game then they did. I am so proud of them.  Now all I can ask of them is that they play like this at the Ontario Championships!” The team includes Nick Vukosa, Stephen Cadamuro, Ebbasa Dugassa, Robert Kanko, Brinder Toor, Louis Abela, Kristian McCarthy, Alexandre Marinez, Manpreet Chatha, Joraver Sangha and Brian Han. The coaching staff includes Thomas Leca and Kelly Smith.
