 Overview
The GTA Jr. High Premier League is a high performance training program, offered by the Pakmen Volleyball Club and sanctioned by the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA), for talented female players in grades 7 & 8 who want to train and compete throughout the school year under the guidance of expert coaches.
The program is held Sunday afternoons from 2:30 - 4 pm at Mississauga Secondary School, which boasts three gymnasiums. The first 5 weeks of the program will focus on teaching proper technique, systems and tactics. After week 5, teams will be formed and players will begin to compete each week. In order to ensure a high quality program, players must currently be starters on their school team or starters on last year's school team or attend a tryout. Players who were part of this program last year do not have to tryout. This program sold out last year and limited spots are available.
